THE EVALUATIVE EXAMINATION

THE OPTOMETRIC EXAM: A COMPLETE OPHTHALMOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT

The first step, before even considering the operation, is to carry out a complete optometric assessment and to meet our teams. It is necessary to carry out a detailed examination of your eyes, and to assess your motivations and your expectations.

It is at this stage that we can measure your visual impairment. We can also detect any possible contraindication to laser surgery. In this way, we will be able to determine the laser technique best suited to your case.

Then, you will meet an ophthalmologist who will analyse with you the results of the optometric assessment which he will establish at that time. He will answer all your questions. Accompanied by an ophthalmologist, you will be able to make the best decision as regards laser surgery.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

For these examinations, you must remove your contact lenses: 48 hours before for soft lenses and a week before for hard lenses.
