Operations Laser

Operation
hyperopia

Hyperopia is characterized by blurred near vision and sharp distance vision. A hyperopic eye is too short or too flat, forming an image of an object at the back of the retina. As a result, objects in the space between the two arms are out of focus.
The operation bulges the cornea. The eye’s axis is thus lengthened, enabling clear vision both near and far.

Treatment

Purpose of the operation

The aim of laser surgery for hyperopia is to reshape the cornea to create a more pronounced curvature in the center, thus correcting the visual defect. In the same treatment, astigmatism can also be corrected.
