Operations Laser
Operation
myopia
Myopia is characterized by blurred vision at a distance and sharp vision up close. For a healthy eye, the image of a distant object is formed on the retina.
The myopic eye is too long and/or the cornea too convex, forming an image in front of the retina. As a result, objects in the distance are out of focus.
Before any laser eye surgery, a complete ophthalmological check-up is mandatory.
Treatment
The laser
Laser surgery for myopia is a common procedure that reshapes the cornea to improve the focus of light on the retina. This procedure is generally quick, painless and offers long-lasting results.
Before any laser eye surgery, a complete ophthalmological check-up is mandatory.

FAQ
Some quick answers to your questions
What is the Lasik technique?
What is the difference between Lasik and PKR?
The difference lies in 3 points:
1-Lasik treats the thickness of the cornea, while PRK treats the surface.
2-the indications are not the same.
3-Lasik is painless and provides visual recovery within 24 hours. PRK is less painless post-operatively, and requires a few days' recovery before a satisfactory visual result can be achieved.
How do I know if I am eligible for laser myopia surgery?
If your defect falls within the indications, we will invite you to undergo a refractive surgery assessment to rule out any contraindications, and then a consultation to define the surgical strategy.
